Jorie Graham is the author of some fifteen collections of poetry, whose work ‘has engaged the whole human contraption – intellectual, global, domestic, apocalyptic – rather than the narrow emotional slice of it most often reserved for poems’ (New York Times).
Her honours include the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, and in 2012 she was the first American woman to win one of the Forward Prizes, a UK award (for Best Collection: PLACE). In 2017 she was awarded the Wallace Stevens Award from the Academy of American Poets.
